Ditto, with every tom, dick and harry carrying a digital camera and/or a cell phone with a camera there's no excuse for lack of pictures.

I don't why it's not on the website but the story in the print version of my local paper had a picture I think.

Also the guy never claimed it was anything more than a UFO, so I'm not sure why everybody is so quick to call him a liar. I would imagine it's standard practice for pilots to report sightings of other aircraft that aren't on radar or haven't been advised by ATC, that's all these two pilots have done.

The fact that these sightings are very close to a nuclear facility on the coast of France makes an investigation a certainty whether it be an alien spacecraft or a light aircraft.

And iGav I doubt the chances of a professional pilot being pissed are that high.....however the fumes breathed out by the bunch of alcoholics that live on Alderney may have been a contributing factor.

A mile wide craft is scary big.
No kidding. Here's a pic one of the locals took and that thing is HUGE!!! It even falls below the horizon!!!!

Isn't it interesting that when someone so much as slips on a piece of ice, there's 20 people around with cameras in hand, but when a UFO shows up, not a photographer in sight.

Alderney UFO

The strange thing is these UFOs were reported independently by two seperate pilots in two seperate planes almost simultaneously; the passengers saw them too and all accounts were consistent. Hey! What about Bush's new missile protection system?
