Ever since I bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max, I have noticed that I tap the screen by accident. For example, a minute ago I picked up my phone, and the palm of my hand tapped the screen while a YouTube video was playing. Another video started playing. It's very annoying when this happens. It finally occurred to me why this is happening. All the iPhones I had before had a space around the home button with no screen, so I got used to grabbing my iPhone a certain way.
Does this mean I am against iPhones having a bigger screen-to-body ratio? No. I just need to get into the habit of grabbing the sides with my palm away from the screen so I don't accidentally tap the screen anymore. I interpret this experience as sometimes a cool design can have unintended and annoying consequences.
Have any of you had any frustrations with going from an iPhone with thick bezels to an iPhone with no bezels?
