This question makes no sense. The update is free It improves on things and takes always google maps and YouTube app. People are really pushing this maps thing Becsuse it really the only thing to talk about. I never update until I can jailbreak my device.

I'm in the same boat as the op. iphone 4 jailbroken on 5.1.1 after reviewing the feedback on ios6 and new features i'm not upgrading til theres an untethered JB out and my primary tweaks are updated to Ios6 compatible.

youtube doesn't bother me i'd download the new app, maps doesnt bother me as i use a seperate app from my uk service provider. But other features just not enough to lose the jailbreak. IOS5 was different i lived without a jailbreak cos the difference was big. But Ios6 i just don't see a reason to sacrifice jailbreak. Especially if like me you use stuff like bitesms and ISX alot. and lockscreen clock hide is a personal must.

This thread is hilarious.

As for a reason to update, if Passbook, Apple Maps, updated Music/iTunes/App Store apps, 200 behind-the-scenes features you won't notice, or Sports-nerd Siri sound interesting to you, then by all means, update.

If it's absolutely important that you keep the native Youtube app, integrated Google Maps, the old blue phone dial pad, or the old task bar, then don't update.

If you're somewhere in between...well...flip a coin or something.

FaceTime over 3G works fairly well (does not apply if you iPad is wifi only). The tweaks are ok, safari and the map apps. Photostream, meh. Better Siri, which will always have room for improvement.

Honestly I'm really struggling to think of a reason to lose your JB over it. I'd just wait for a JB for 6. Maybe someone could justify it with an iPhone but its tough for an iPad.
