LoopInsight, Engadget and others are reporting that Kellogg's will be holding a press conference this Saturday.

Kellogg's would only say that the press conference would be regarding the Strawberry Pop Tarts. No other information was available when I spoke with them tonight.

Any phone will get scratched if you rub it with a pop tart, just avoid rubbing it that way...

well i started thinking that maybe it was the toasted poptart that caused the iphone to scratch, and not a normal poptart without being toasted. i took it upon myself to test this out. my iphone didnt get a scratch on it from putting it in the toaster, but it is hot and it wont turn on. do you think its overheating? suggestions?

P.S. i set up a genius appointment for tonight, maybe they will know the answer

Funny thread.

I agree that salt, sugar or other coarse food topping will scratch the iPhone4 glasstic.

My idea of a pretzel bread slider case have just been dashed.

Until this moment I had never pictured 2 iPhone 4's fitting perfectly in, and popping up out of a toaster, at which point Bruce Willis shoots John Travolta with a silenced Mac-10.

Knock Knock Jokes

Poptarts had their fair share of recalls and being discontinued. Nevertheless, they are a perfect match for the iPhone.

1. They come in Apple Strudel flavor.

2. The Chocolate Chip will chip your iPhone.

3. You can have Smart Tarts with your Smartphone.

4. Everybody loves the Chocolate Frosted Fudge!

That makes no sense, because all of the ingredients of a pop tart are softer then glass. Besides unless you're going to put some pressure on the glass with pop tart crumbs how will it scratch it.

Second thing - why in the world are you eating a pop tart over your phone. I keep my phone away from food/liquids all the time.

This is an AT&T problem for sure...I'd hold out for Verizon Pop-Tarts and everything will be fine.
