A problem for the knowledgeable.

    Given the following conditions:
    Administrator password is unknown
    EFI password is unknown (boot options are hence unavailable)
    Guest user access is available
    Macbook model is late-2011 (RAM trick is hence obsolete)
    Operating system version is 10.8.5

    How would you attempt to access an administrator account or create a new one?

    I'd return the Mac to its rightful owner.

    That's presumptive, and possibly unfair.

    That said, OP, if you want help, you need to give us a bit more context.

    That was my initial thought too when reading the OP. Whole thing absolutely reeks of theft. I then correctly predicted that this was his first post, and likely his last. A reminder to all to always have the firmware password on your Mac turned ON

    It's also possibly dead accurate. It certainly wouldn't be the first time, or the last.

    Definitely could be, but it's the OP's first and only post and they joined MR a maximum of 8 hours and 10 minuets before the their post. So...
