iPod A question about the shuffle

I just got my first shuffle and i was wondering if i could charge it in an outlet using a charger from my 3Gen ipod.

Also has anyone found a problem with the shuffle when not using the apple included head phones.

You can use any headphones you want.

As far as the charging I'm not totally sure what you mean. If you have a FW brick and can someone connect it to the shuffle it should work.
