A Question I Should Know the Answer To. Activate 5 first, or Wipe 4S First?

I didn't find an answer to this, so maybe I wasn't framing the question right. I want to wipe my 4S to sell now that I have the 5. What step do I do first? Activate the 5, then wipe the 4S, or wipe the 4S first, then activate the 5?

Doesn't really matter which you do first.

I'd setup the 5 first, make sure everything is okay, then wipe the 4S

I updated my 4s to iOS6. Then I cleaned everything out that I didn't want. Pics, apps, messages, emails, ect... I then made sure I had a new iCloud back up.

Then on the iP5, I restored from my recent iCloud back up. Everything came over just as I left it on the 4s. All I had to do from there was enter all me passwords, and sync whatever music I had in iTunes to the 5.

After this was complete, I went to Settings/General/Erase All Content and Settings on the 4s.
