why doesn't :apple: sell max os for more then just their own computer range?😕

like leopard on a hp computer
and why don't they make more variety with their products?😕

Answer to the first... they want to survive as a company, and that strategy almost killed them once. If they did it now, the environment is such that it would be an even WORSE move than in the 90's.

Mac OS X authorized on non-Apple hardware = No Apple, Inc. in about 24 months.

As to the second question, they prefer making money in the fat bands of the market, rather than losing margin chasing narrow market niches. It's another of the things they do correctly and other companies do incorrectly... why emulate the folks who are doing it wrong?

Also, by controlling the hardware they do not need to support a huge hardware product matrix like Microsoft and Windows Devs must.

I voted for a MacBook with a graphics card, but what I would really like to see is a 15" MacBook.
