Will the Appke TV download new releases of podcasts or will I need to download them via iTunes them sync them to the Apple TV 😕

It should sync as soon as it's done fetching stuff, all by itself... I usually just hit the "refresh" button before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning everything is downloaded and synced with the
TV
