hi, i'm after an app that allows me to mute or adjust the levels of certain programs that are open. I'm a video editor and right now I'm editing something I dont need the sound for. I'd like to be able to mute the sound coming from premiere so that I can listen to spotify or something on the same mac.

I found one once (forgot the name - sorry) but it just didn't do what it was meant to do (and the reviews said so too)

Any suggestions?!

the first one would have been idea. Free too! but like the other app I found that claimed to do this, it just doesn't work. The other one is $47 so continuing the search to find something else that I think it's not unreasonable to expect that the OS should be able to do on its own..

I think its something to do with premiere pro as other apps are able to be dipped in volume, just not premiere. That's frustrating. It's the only app I want to be able to mute!
