that would have been such a sweet iPhone if it would have become a reality.

I take it that screen is indestructible? Or else how would it be a solution to screen shattering?

Well not that tough to figure out actually. The glass is inset into the frame instead of being on top of it. By being on top it exposes the edge of the glass to damage. The pictured design is much better in these regards.

I'm just playing with people's perception that the iPhone 4 is more likely to be shattered because it's covered with glass on the front and back outside of the bevel.

I wish the iPhone 4 looked like this :( Of all the leaked designs, this one might be my favorite.

However, we are at least 5 years away before they can really make it that thin.

It's not that much thinner, easily achieved by using paper-thin OLED screen.

Yeah, I've seen that picture before. LOVE the design (and screen size). Too bad it'll never be reality.

Ya, but unless it can match the DPI of the iPhone 4 screen ... OLED won't happen on the iPhone :D

No, he didn't do that. That image has been around for a while...like a year or more.

I'll take it just for the LED notification light.

iPhone 5 preview, no. The iPhone 5 design won't change just like there was no change in design from 3G to 3GS. iPhone 6, maybe.

Macrumors veterans know that this is an oldie, it's been around since before the 3GS launch. I had it as my wallpaper for a while.

I'm not sure but I think they used Motion?
