I bought a 2009 quad i5 in june. The seagate disk was making me mad! After long calls with apple care (sorry, no hardware issue, nothing we can do) a verry nice person offerd a replacement. Happy as I was, waited for a long time. Nothing happend. Her manager did not agree with te replacement. A 2009 for a 2010 iMac. I could send my old iMac back, money back and buy a 2010 iMac. You can imagine, I was not pleased at all. No service After a few e-mails (a lot!) they agreed to replace..... and today it came in! It is stunning! Thank God for a clear and bright screen with no issues. The new HDD a WD not a Seagate is quit but not silent. But something I could really life with. After all the hassle, Apple, thank you for a beautiful iMac!
