It's a major fashion brand, and their bands have been the subject of discussion or speculation for a while now, so we decided to put it on the front page. Nothing more complicated than that.

I come here for technology news, not fashion news, and the latter I usually expect in the iOS Blog. There at least needs to be a way to hide uninteresting articles from the front page.

Not every article is going to be interesting to every reader, so in the simplest terms, the most straightforward strategy is to just skip it and move on to the next one.

That said, appreciate the feedback as we're always evaluating what is and isn't working editorially.

Watch straps are becoming a symbol of some peoples' opinions about Apple's current direction.

I suggest continuing to post strap-related news, but re-directing the comments to a re-named "Politics, Religion, Social Issues and Watch Straps" and limiting replies to people with at least 6 great-grandparents of "MacRumors 6502" rank or higher :)

That said, I don't recall seeing A.N. Other third-party iPhone case launches outside of iOS Blog unless they revealed details about future iPhones.

PRSIAWS would surely upset the PRSI establishment.

Let's keep it separate, short and snappy. Maybe MIEMY (make it even more you).
