hi,

is there anyway to get footage of a camcorder that only has a USB connection and onto my MAC so I can edit it in iMovie 6?

thanks

PS does iMovie '09 import with USB?

You have to import into iMovie 9 first. Save your work. Open iMovie 6, select import and point it to the folder imovie9 made for your events. They both use AIC so it only transcodes once.

I do not have iMovie '09 - I was only asking to see if the issue was resolved.

If I had iMovie '09, I would (obviously) not be asking about iMovie 6.😕

It's not an issue to be resolved. It's a feature that never has and never will exist on your 3 year-old (soon to be 4) software product.

I have iMovie '09, and still find myself using the '06 version more! 😵
