a USB or FW for VGA/DVI input

Hi,

Does an USB or FW for VGA/DVI input exsist for mac? Because i would like to buy one when i get my ps3. Mabey a USB HDMI input would be best, but i dont think that exist because of the HDCP.

So let me get this straight, you're trying to go VGA ---> FW? I'm pretty sure that's not possible.

Definitely firewire. The most popular input for Mac is by elgato. However, even the best lag to much to game with. Get a separate TV or an LCD with both computer and analogue inputs. You will NOT be happy going through your Mac (or any computer).

If you are set on using your Mac display for your PS3, i would look for some sort of DVI switch selector. I know someone out there somewhere has to make one of those. I know they make them for VGA.
