I am regularly frustrated when I take a photo because somehow I inadvertently change the 'mode' from 'Photo' to 'Portrait' or 'Video' or something even further afield.

I would like access to an opt-in camera setting that would lock in the Photo mode and require extra keystroke(s) to unlock the mode temporarily.

Am I the only user who is frustrated by the feature that makes mode change so easy?

thanks

I know what you mean.. I've had the same problem, I once lost an important shot because the mode changed to panoramic or something else and I didn't have time to re-adjust

I have downloaded proCamera , the layout is different, default is photo , then you need to press another option to change to video, portrait etc..
the drawback is two steps to change the mode
