I'm open to doing anything so please say if you know any way to downgrade.
I'm on iOS 9 and could I downgrade to iOS 6?
I'm talking about anything, literally anything.

Thanks

There is absolutely no way to downgrade to a version of iOS that Apple does not sign anymore. It's just the way of things now.

There's been a million threads on the subject and if you had done a simple search then you would know that.

Now can these ignoramus threads stop?

If there was a way do you think you wouldn't know it by now? It would be common knowledge because plenty of other people want to downgrade (myself included).

Seriously, there are new threads about downgrading like every other day. It's ridiculous.

Try being on reddit!

It's insane the amount of people over there that should never be allowed anywhere near a jailbreak.

Of course, there is ... if you work in the Apple as a software engineer, you can sign the software yourself.

I would add one possible way would be to buy an older phone that has ios 6 installed on it. I'm sure it would not be so easy to find a good one on an e-commerce, auction site, or Craigslist, but I'm sure it's "possible". Good luck!

There's OdysseusOTA but only for certain 32 bit devices (and not sure if it was updated for iOS 9 support)

You can downgrade a 4s and iPad 2 back to iOS 6.1.3 but it requires a supported JB. The iPad 3 can also be downgraded to iOS 8.4.1 as Apple HAS to sign that but again it requires a supported JB so if you're like me that's running both on 9.2.1 or 9.3 B4, then i'm out of luck and have to wait for either Pangu or TaiG to release a JB.

Well there you go, OdysseusOTA 2, a guy managed to downgradr 9.0.2 to 8.4.1 which isn't ios 6 but it's great.

I can't say I understand the negativity and the arrogance coming from eyoungren, but thanks for having fun and thinking about it!

Someone should hack Apples servers and sign ios 6 for 24h until everyone downgrades!

Its for certain 32bit devices, and needs a jailbreak which the current signed firmware doesn't support. Seems like it would only benefit a few people until the next jailbreak comes out which may be a while.

I wasn't being negative, nor was I being arrogant.

I was making a statement of fact. If there was an easy way to downgrade it would be common knowledge accessible by even a cursory Google search. Mentioning a fact doesn't mean a negative or arrogant attitude.

Perhaps however, you sensed my exasperation and mistook it for arrogance. Wanting something to be true and offering to do anything to make it true will not make an untrue thing true.

If that were the case my iPhone 6s+ would be running iOS 6.1 and I'd be Fabio in his prime. But my 6+ can't ever run iOS 6.1 and there's no way anyone would ever mistake me for being Fabio.

As to Odysseus, sure there is a downgrade. For 32-bit devices that are jailbroken. Unless you own a jailbroken iPhone 5 or less on iOS 9.0.2 or less then this option is not available to you. From the 5c on all devices are 64-bit. And you need saved SHSH blobs to go back any farther than 8.4.1.

If you have a 4s or a 5 that is running 9.0.2 or less then you might have mentioned it in the beginning. You can't have a 4 because that's iOS 7 only and you said you were on 9.x. So that means you are in a very narrow spot where this is available to you and you then have to be either a 4s or a 5 owner - jailbroken. If you don't have either of those phones then you have no downgrade.

Law of probabilities. If you do have a 4s or a 5 and it is jailbroken then I lost the bet.

That's pretty much what needs to happen to make this possible currently.
Sorry it's not what you want to hear and hope you don't think we're just being negative.
It's just the reality of it.

And yes, I'd like to be Fabio too.
I can't believe it's not butter:D

Well I do have an iPhone 5 and it use to be jailbroken, then unjailbroken and running 8.4.1., then I had issuses with my camera and I thought it was a software issue so I upgraded zo 9.2.1. so you almost lost your bet.

I belive in availability of downgrading an iPhone 5 in the future, I just mustn't upgrade.
