I don't know what FCP is. Should I?Maybe start with one of the dozens of introductory YouTube tutorials to get a hang of the UI and what DR can and cannot do. Then get yourself some footage, better yet, a project, to do inside DR.
PS: I watched some of them every now and then, but still end up using FCP, as it is just faster for my kind of work - travel videos and maybe a music video every now and then.
