A way to turn off 'unread email badge' ?

    the miss's device usually has between 30-100 unread emails, the badge on springboard mail icon drives her insaine. Is there a way to for me to
    hack out the unread mail badge? Via ssh??

    mark them all as read and use the badge how its ment to be used ?

    The least destructive way would be to create a theme in WB where you have a blank badge image and set the badge's text color to transparent. Of course this means that no other applications will be able to display a badge.

    On the plus side, since its handled as a theme you can easily turn it off if another solution comes to light.
