If it was anything like Ministry of Sound in London, it was totally amazing for a while, then gradually became a tourist attraction.

Nah, Ministry has always been bollocks, London's never quite nailed the clubbing scene, though that said I was at the launch party for 'Home', and it was f**kin' amazing, really went for it that night... totally off my knickers. :D

The midlands/north has always had a better clubbing scene, I'll give it that... once upon a time, in my thirst to dance, I was a little bit of a regular at Back2Basics in Leeds too. :D

That could have something to do with why I liked Ministry so much. I'd just got a big insurance payment from being knocked off my bike, and I blew the lot in three months being seriously hedonistic.

I used to love going down Heaven too. Had some wild nights there

The people, mainly...

There's everything you could ever want from a city here, but without the cost and general nastiness of London for example...

Why does everyone from Manchester call London nasty? I think people get the wrong impression when they only see the jostling crowds in the centre - where no-one actually lives. In reality, London is chock full of nice, happy people like me :D

I've been told that many Americans consider New York to be 'nasty' - probably the same misconception (although I've never been there).
