Saturday, I did a one-mile rucking walk on my treadmill. As you can see, my pace was 3 MPH (a 20-minute mile), and I walked for ~20 minutes. Imagine my confusion when the workout reported .44 miles! Typically, mileage being off is because the watch is having to estimate the distance. However, my treadmill syncs with my watch so it always matches the time and distance shown on the treadmill exactly. I'm pretty certain the treadmill said 1 mile when I stopped, so the error has to be the watch. Maybe.

This has never happened before, so hopefully it's a 1-time anomaly, but still, weird right?

what OS version?

I've never used a treadmill that syncs with the watch, so I have no personal experience, though my bike cadence and distance sensor does sync with the watch and I've never had an issue like this.

But if the workout time is just over 20 minutes and the average pace is just under 20 minutes/mile, 0.44 miles is an obvious issue. Maybe the next time you do a workout the treadmill will complete the sync of this workout?

No such luck. I did another walk today (Tue,Thu,Sat) and it recorded it correctly, but didn't affect the one from Saturday.

Weird Bluetooth, one-off maybe?

Not Watch related but had an odd one-off issue with my BP monitor, once. Was syncing it to my iPhone and just glitched out once. Failed to complete the sync over BT. Years of no issues but that one time for the week's data...

ASSuming that the treadmill is using BT and had some weirdness/interference happen. See it occasionally with my six lead ECG device (where Watch at same time returns a "clean" ECG).
