A wonderful new iPhone bug.

Found a great new bug!

Go into a site on safari in landscape.

Lock your phone.
Rotate the phone to Portrait while locked.
Unlock.

It will cause safari to be stuck in portrait while the main bar and the keyboard are stuck in landscape.

Doesn't happen here. I visit cnn.com in landscape mode, then hit the Sleep button - screen turns off. Then I turn the phone to portrait, hit the sleep button again - screen turns on. I swipe the button across the screen, and the iPhone is still in landscape mode - but it immediately readjusts.

Doesn't happen to me either. My phone switches back to portrait and everything is fine.

mine did this yesterday to me. I didn't have my camera with me to take a pic. I showed a few people and asked them if they knew how to type upside down. Maybe they were thinking that this could help couples work together. One person reads while the other does the typing.

Hah that just happened to me today. I held down Home for a few seconds to reboot Safari.
