I recently had a base MacBook Pro 15 16 touch model and thougt the screen looked great. I recently returned it for a 2,7/512/455 model and the screen difference is actually quite big.
The A031 was a lot warmer in the color temperature compared to my new one. The brightness on this A030 is also ALOT higher.
But the black level and viewing angel was better on the A031.
This is pretty much the same experience i had with the mbpr mid 2012 modell with the LSN and LP panels on that one.
Samsung doesn't have the same teq regarding IPS as LG does, so i guess thats why me viewing angles is a litte worse on this A030. I think Samsung uses S-PLS panels.
Anyone with the same experience?
I think its quite shocking how much brightness differences there really is.. I would never have noticed if it wasn't for my new mac and comparing them side by side.
