Just a thought, but calling the processor A17 Pro, makes me wonder if next years iPhone 16 will have a binned down A17 chips. This would be in line with Apple’s new super green push.

Like M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra in Macs, the A17 (not Pro) in the iPhone 16 will likely have fewer GPU cores and less RAM.

I guess that is a good point. A17 pro may be the higher spec’d A17 compared M1 vs. M1 Pro.

This would be the first time this happened to the iPhone.
