Are the A19 Pro and M5 a great step up from previous SoCs?

Nothing unexpected for a YoY increase…. I frankly don’t perceive any performance difference between my 17 Pro Max and the 16 Pro Max it replaced, and I’m sure it may be the case for most users.

Step up not for incremental improvement, but for multi-generational improvement. With that being said, M5’s GPU performance boost is surely a nice to have compared to A19.

The big gains in the 17 Pro/17 Pro Max with both RAM and Memory Speed it seems.
Still a lot of optimisation to be done to iOS 26 by the feel of it.
