Hi,
I have a MacBook came for changing keyboard as liquid damaged and keyboard sometimes freezing and not working. I changed keyboard and now the screen is black. It is turning on the starting sound coming fan works but black screen. Logic board in perfect condition, no rust or damaged components under microscope. I might damaged the screen ways as I remembered during testing the new keyboard ,the lcd flex was disconnected from the panel when it was on. I tested with another lcd panel and it is same black.
I did diode test on j8500 and pin 1 is shorted to the ground. DP_INT_AUXCH_C_N is shorted. Is that mean cpu is dead while the mac turns on?

Thanks I have display on external monitor. And I tested with another panel today as well so this is third panel I tested totally, just black. I can't see even with flashlight.

Try connecting it to an external monitor to see if it is actually booting up or not.
I did test and I have external screen no issue. I measured the voltage on j8500. I get 0v on pin 16 which is EDP_BKLT_PWM. What I should to do?

If you are not getting any power for the backlight then you may have to replace the motherboard.

Just by chance, when you measured the output at j8500, did you try pressing the backlight brighten key to ensure that the brightness wasn't set to off?

I am having same issue. From the image below, that screen connector is very hot.
