How is performance on apple a5 devices like the ipad mini ipad 2 ipad 3 and ipod touch 5th gen and are any of these devices fell faster on ios 9 than ios 8 let me know thanks

Beta 1 on A5 just destroys these devices.

Beta 2 on A5 seems ok.

Didn't do much test, though.

The performance enhancements seem to focus on Metal, which only the A7 and later support. I'll be very curious to see how the iPad 3 does on iOS 9 compared to iOS 8.

iOS 7 was okay, but iOS 8 just overwhelmed that poor A5X

Beta 1 on iPad 3. A bit laggier than ios 8. The device has gone downhill since iOS 7. I wasn't expecting a miracle.

Beta 2 on iPhone 5. Seems noticeably laggy. Definitely not as smooth as 8.3. Though I didn't set this device up as new which people recommend.

None of these devices are faster with iOS 9 from my experience.
