Excellent technology, I may add; they're at the top of the industry with hardware. Nobody makes better chips or components than they do.

I know Samsung makes tons of products, most quite good. Do others? I was just merely pointing out the blind venom that's surely to occur through this thread because Samsung was involved.

Samsung does not design apple components? They are spec manufactures.. And copiers of other peoples technology!

Yeah, because designing the chip is the only hard part of making a processor. Mass producing cutting edge technology is cake in comparison.

Ask any of my friends and family, and they'll confirm that I get angry about many, many stupid things.

Being upset about who fabricates a chip for my smartphone is not even within the realm of possibility of something I could be angry about.

My suggestion is that in order to be able to post something anti-Samsung you have to sign an affidavit pledging that you own nothing with parts made by Samsung. Otherwise, you're just a hypocrite.
 
If nothing more, it means that Samsung had a few months advance notice that Apple was putting a 64-bit chip into the iPhone 5s. I guess TSMC wasn't ready yet. It isn't really a big surprise. The earlier rumors were that TSMC would start with the A8.

Don't fret it. The way some people can twist the great smartphone debate into an argument of Pure Good vs. Absolute Evil is something to be concerned about, if not outright despair over.
 
Intel needs to up their game in mobile or in a few years they may find their business falling off a cliff. I wish Intel had made the A7. An Apple/Intel partnership would be strong.

They have the ability to match the A7 in their x86 chips. Thing is, I don't ever see Apple abandoning ARM. Not when they have absolute control over the end product, and can produce them for far cheaper than they can license chips from Intel.
 
I'm sick and tired of all the straw men who say EVERYTHING Samsung has ever done bad because of the obvious bad things they have done.

Wait... nobody said that.

Wow I wish I could neg you right now. You're living in a fantasy world. In what possible way does this affect your user experience? Had Apple used another chip maker would iOS look any different, for example?

Well, my response was targeted specifically at the people who posted in Page 1 and said things like "boo, I am upset to hear that Samsung is making these chips".

I don't think those people are made of straw, but clearly they are upset about something...

The topic of conversation is Samsung builds the a7 chip!
That is a source a major concern as samsung has demonstrated zero ethics!
Samsung chose to bring this onto themselves by their conduct!
I am merely a person who has observed the conduct and am disgusted by it!
