Apple trading was just mysteriously halted before earnings.

This usually foreshadows VERY bad news.

I'm keeping an eye out on this...

Aren't the markets closed anyway? It's after hours. Or is after-hours trading stopped?

    Yes, after hours trading.

It could be good or bad news, but it seems unlikely they'd halt ahead of good news since I don't think AAPL has ever stopped trading in the past (either way, it's probably at the extreme end of good or bad).

Looks like trading will reopen at 5:10pm, during the conference call.

Not sure if this means there will be some announcement made then, but as I mentioned, it's very unusual for Apple to halt trading at earnings (in fact, it's unprecedented).

    No Good...

I'm wishing I had gotten out at $319 per share today. That would have been a really great gain for me...now I'm in regret, BIG TIME! I'm thinking Apple is going to see between $255 and $260 per share before it begins the climb back up...if it even does go back up. It might stabalize in the $250 per share range. Just my thoughts on it.

Well, since it's only dropped to $300 in after hours trading, and with such a hugely successful quarter, I can't see it dropping all the way down to $250. MAYBE $275 if there's a big sell off for profit.
