AAPL Plummeting as event goes on... Will it go back up?

Worst Keynote ever. Couldnt even feel the atmosphere through the screen unlike every single other keynote i have watched. Wow, ITS ALL NEW INSIDE though.

Bragging about battery life on a 3.5 screen?

Comparing everything to Android?

Cards? (Hallmark is in trouble now)

imessage? only with iOS users even Android has BBM

iphone 4s can snap first photo .7 seconds quicker then Android Bionic.

Good thing I dumped my Apple stock before keynote.

Have to agree. First time in my life I haven't wanted anything they announced. Not a single damn thing.
 
I expect a much bigger fall by the end of the day. There aren't going to be any lines for this phone, except maybe at Sprint.
 
If Sprint really dumped that huge investment that they were rumored to, that company is doomed. The 4S is a POS to be honest, nothing game-changing at all.

I don't feel any impulse to upgrade my iPhone 4. The main reason I carry a Galaxy S2 in my other pocket is because it has a screen large enough for my old eyes to read without squinting.
 
The stock always goes down with any Apple event. I have no clue why people are so shocked this time around. They are blaming the phone for nothing.

Yea every Engadget live blog they ALWAYS talk about the applause. This time they only mentioned applause once and that was for the greeting cards lol.
 
I think this is the first time I've used the stock app. Apple down 5%, shame :)

On the bright side, I supposed I saved £300 today.

Well, it's for a 64 GB phone, which doesn't exist anywhere else. It's a premium market that is willing to pay for that, of which I'm one. It's a choice - you can easily pay less for a 16 or 32 GB phone. I'm glad Apple gave us this option finally.

I was more excited about the new ipod nano swipe instead of grid change than anything with ios or iphone.

except with some of the other options you can buy external storage and micro-sd cards aren't that expensive.
 
Apple stock as the iPhone 4S announcement happened

No doubt, the iPhone 4S will sell, but to our demographic, the techies, I think Android sales will be great this holiday season, especially with a slew of high end smartphones coming from Samsung, and HTC.
