    Hey guys

Looking to get into the app building world. Now I've got a MacBook Pro and just downloaded Xcode. What else will benefit me with getting started?

    Thanks

Have you checked out the Guides and Stickies at the top of this very forum?

Just read through the sticky on the programming section. To start off with would you recommend getting a few programming books to have a read through for the basics? If so which ones the best to start with?

    Thanks

Lynda.com has both ObjC and iOS (IIRC). I've watched some of them a while back and remember them being very good.

BNR just released their iOS7 book. Search Amazon for Big Nerd Ranch.
