i have a question.
when using your iphone and listening to the ipod, and you get a text, does it pause the music?
or does the music go on uninterrupted and the text just pops up?

The music gets uninterrupted.

If your iPhone is NOT on silent, the music volume of the iPod will lesten a bit and then you'll hear a faint SMS message alert sound.

If your iPhone is ON silent, it will just vibrate.
