I'll say it again. It runs Android though. If this phone was $400 or less it would be acceptable.
I bought a Pixel last year and it doesn't function like a $700 phone.
My opinion of course.
There is no $700 phone. Just $400 phones marked up to $700. Or, in Apples case, $1500 in some countries.

I said the iPhone X is more expensive but everyone seems to be treating it as wildly more expensive than the competition which isn’t the case.

It’s 150.00 less than X. That could be a lot more or a lot less depending on the person. I’d say it’s in the ballpark.

I think what sucks most about installment plans is that phone manufacturers are treating it as a license to keep raising smartphone prices. An extra $12.50/mo for two years doesn't look too bad compared to dropping an extra $300 outright for most.

original iPhone was $599 + 2 yr contract, essentially a net value of $1050. Just sayin!
You could cancel the contract anytime without penalty, though.

I agree. I prefer to pay in full at the time of purchase, which helps free me of FOMO.
