Kind of how the 13 Rmbp screen is.. WANT!

Then why not get the 13" rMBP? On the other hand, a unified 12-inch rMBA sounds like it would be good.

I didn't know humans became so weak in the last 5-7 years. 13" works best for "not to frequent travelers"? Bahahaha ;)

Sorry, but let's get real. People have been lugging around bricks for over a decade just fine. I'd say the 13" is the sweet spot for most (anecdotal of course) while the 11" is good for the really ultra portable crowd, but I still think it's safe to say most people are traveling with 14-15" notebooks.

I like the 11 but I don't like the small keys that had to be used. In-between is perfect and makes the lineup/options far more clear. Also streamlines production with one size.

Exactly. The 13-inch is the perfect size for people who travel tons. With the 15-inch barely going outside the portability factor in terms of size and not weight.

If someone thinks a 13-inch laptop isn't portable and that only the 11" is, then I don't know what to say.

Well, I carry my 13.3 air on my flight bag daily, and that extra lightness is really a difference for me, so having a smaller bezel would be great, the 13 air as it is, is just phenomenal, thats why reducing the bezel as someone said earlier would be incredibly welcome!

Half a pound is that big of a deal? I will be travelling constantly, and for a far superior machine it would make no difference. But I guess this is why people want a Retina MBA.

A 10-inch Mac? Haha no way. I can totally see a 12-inch model to replace both the 11 and 13.

All I'm gonna say is that some MR people DO want a smaller MacBook Air, or conversely a more productive iPad with "proper" inputs. One could argue about sales cannibalization, and whether it fits into the current Apple ecosystem. The coming iOS/OSX merging might make all this moot anyways.

Example post in case you've somehow missed the many "I wish the iPad was more capable" posts in the past.

I completely agree ... but it's not about weakness ... it's about marketing ... that was the point behind my post and you can see it in Apple's commercials ... but even within those you see pretty ppl with hardly any muscle tone smiling care-free should they pick up a brick they'll be sad and complain and all will not be right with the world. lol.

if rumors were true about retina display and 12'' screen
will we get same battery life as current haswell?
what will broadell bring more than haswell?
i am planning to get mba haswell but i am afraid next mba would be an huge step forward
