About the "Free iPod" promo

I can't remember how it was last year! Do people have Edu discount + free iPod or they use the retail price + free iPod?

naw, it's a special for students (at least that's who it's geared towards - I don't know if anyone can do it), so students still get their discount, but they can also opt for a free iPod (well, a nano, or $179 towards a full-sized iPod). However, you pay the cost up front, and then send in for the rebate to get the money back.. just fyi.

Anyone who qualifies for the education discount; being students or educators qualify. My mom is a special ed. teacher and she bought her macbook during the promo last year.
