Hi, I'm taking my iPhone into the Apple Store tomorrow, so I need to restore it to factory settings.

If I restore it, will it update the baseband and void future Jailbreaking?

Thanks. It's 4.1 by the way!

If you are on the old BB and you restore to 4.1 using itunes yes it will update the BB. If you are using iP4, you can use Tiny Umbrella to save your current BB.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping for a replacement as the Home Button decides to work when it decides too! however, they may not replace it, so I'll give that TinyUmbrella a try.

Is it pretty simple to work?

Yes, open TU and click start TSS server.
The open iTunes and restore or update your iPhone 4.
It will give u an error when it finishes the restore. Click kick device out of recovery on TU and your on the new firmware with the old baseband.
