Simple as the title says. I got the Absinthe app, I click on the app, it opens up but no " Jailbreaking " button pops up. The app is just the icon and an advertisement. Nothing else.

I clicked the icon and my phone rebooted, but there was no cydia.

    What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to find the solution as I am jailbreaking right now.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Same here:

    • click Absinthe app - white screen appears
    • white screen for 3 minutes then greenpois0n blogpage opens up
    • no reboot
    • no cydia

Everything is still working as normal iOS 5 would but no JB...

I had the same issue on a friend's Verizon iPhone 4S. I just reran the entire jailbreak process and it worked right off.

There is not jailbreak button that pops up on the iPhone. Once you have the Absinthe icon on your iPhone, you run it and it will automatically run and reset your phone with the Cydia icon replacing it if everything went right. Are you guys keeping the phone connected to it while running the Absinthe app? I remember the installer tells you to unlock your phone and run it but I kept it connected just in case. I also disabled my passcode lock as I had read from a few other users that it could help.

Thank you so much, I finally got it working. I can confirm I have cydia.
