Absinthe or Redsnow???

Folks, which one would you use and for what reason to jailbreak my Iphone 4?
just wanted to get some input as i'm fairly new to Apple.

To jailbreak the iPhone 4, use redsn0w.

absinth is only for A5 devices (iPad 2 and Iphone 4S).

You can use greenpoison or redsnow for you iPhone 4. I prefer redsnow, but both will get the job done

You cant use just anything on any device or firmware version.
What firmware is your iphone 4 on?

sorry folks i didnt realize that Absinthe was just for A5 devices, i have used Redsnow and i am currently jailbroken but i'm having some issues so i thought i would restore it and start from scratch, again thanks for the information.

Absinthe now has an untethered jailbreak for 5.1.1 on all devices except Apple TV3. I'm going with that. Will come back and post if I have problems.
