I downloand absinthe and got it all ready to go, plugged my phone in and it doesnt recognize my phone is connected. i do not have itunes or anything installed on this computer if that matters. Windows knows the phone is connected. Just not absinthe. thoughts?

Thank you. I put it on and it started to work. I erased all settings and content and it still gets stuck at the end.

you shouldnt have hit the erase content and settings lol, not sure why people keep doing that. Itunes does all that when restoring to a new device

i am just going to restore it on itunes after work and try then. Should be good to go at that point.

God if I had a dollar every time somebody does this to a jailbroken device.. it's like a fight club rule!

Rule 1 of Jailbreaking! I erased all settings and content and it still gets stuck at the end.

Rule 2 Never Accidentally upgrade

Rule 3 never don't do a over the air update.

Rule 4 Don't forget about your baseband if your concerned about unlocking.

Rule 5 shsh blobs (save them)

Rule 6 just pay for your apps hacks and tweaks (Don't be a cheap A$$)

Rule 7 show people how much cooler your device is jailbroken. 😀

I agree with all of your rules. The inital instructions i read were to erase all settings.
