Accelerometer Bug!

Anyone else got the accelerometer bug where you keep dialling numbers with your ear when you're on a call? It's driving me nuts

That's the proximity sensor issue, and yes, it's been discussed at length in a few threads here. Jobs and Co. mentioned that issue and will be coming up with a fix in a forthcoming software update.

I've heard "one or two" people have the problem you describe. It's the proximity sensor, not the accelerometer...

My iPhone 4 has always been bad about the proximity sensor, but I got the otterbox defender on it and I guess it aims the sensor better because I don't have any prox issue's anymore.
