Hi all,
Is there a way to easily share screen between a modern iPad and a G3+ PPC mac?

From what I've seen, you can easily screen share between iPad and modern Macs with a variety of apps, or through some Apple methods.

As for bridging Intel and PPC, I believe it's still possible with Apple screen sharing, the feature that existed as early as OS 10.1.5.

So unless there's another way, the only way I can see myself sharing screens onto my iPad would be to have a bridging Intel Mac sharing the screen of the PPC, and the iPad could then share that intel screen. I imagine this would be too slow to be useable...

Anyone tried anything like this before?

I use VNC Viwer on my iPad to view/control all my Macs.
Hi, just tried VNC Viewer. I was able to get a still shot of my iMac G4, but the iPad couldn't refresh in real time and kept cutting out. Is this because old computers can't handle real-time screen sharing over Wifi?

Note: my internet connection is very stable, so it shouldn't be that. The iMac is connected to internet via Airport. The iPad is an M1 Pro.

How are you sharing the screen from the G3? Standard Screen Sharing enabled in the Sharing Prefs pane?
