Siri always says get your iPhone unlocked before responding to my voice commands. Is there a way to get Siri to trust my voice similar to android? If it’s not in iOS 11, will this be a feature in iOS 12??

Settings, Siri, allow Siri when locked

That’s how it is on iOS 12 but I think 11 was the same.

Yes - in settings it is allowed when locked.
Still when I drive and say call someone “, it replies back saying unlock it first. See whether you can dial someone with voice command without touching the phone when it’s locked.

So long as you're looking at the phone, this is an advantage of Face ID....it was really annoying hearing that "You need to unlock your iPhone first" prior to owning the X.

Now you can command Siri to do something, whilst looking at it, & it unlocks automatically before proceeding to perform the command.
