iPod touch Access to local network?

I've tried hard to find any talk about this, maybe I'm losing my touch? (no pun intended)


But I'm trying to find a way to access my local network via my iTouch.
I'm not interested in VPN, just a way to access my local file server on my network.

In Windows terms; "Mapping a Network Drive".

Any ideas?

AirSharing Pro may suit your needs. There are other similar apps that support FTP and other protocols.

Sadly, that program doesn't have what I'm looking for.
Simply looking for a method of access to a local file server.
