access to .mac account

everytime i've tried to get to my .mac account for the past 15 hours it says it's undergoing maintenece. what is going on that is taking that long?

Not only that but on your mac you cannot login on the .mac either. I thought I was the only one.

It's all because of the problems with the launch of MobileMe as discussed at length in the main news threads. Some people are not happy.
