Accessing calendar when on the phone

anyone having this problem with IOS 10.....when on the phone I can't switch apps. So when trying to get a contact or go to my calendar while on phone I can't do it.
 
App switching by double pressing the home button on iOS 10 works on my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s Plus in every beta. Have you upgraded to the GM yet?
