Hi, I can't access my library. If I create a new account, the same thing happens. I set them as administrators.

When I try to access the library, it says I don't have permissions to see its contents.

You mean your Library folder insider your Home Directory?

Have you opened the GET INFO window (CMD+I) to see, what permissions you have?

Great point. There are 2 items in there, System and Everyone. System had R&W permissions but the Everyone had none.

How does that happen to a newly created account? Is there a way to modify that when creating users?

I can now access the Library folder, but within it there is no Documents or Downloads folder. There is:

Application Support
