Accessing Mac Files Across Bootcamp

Hey

I don't know if anyone has asked this before and I haven't checked all the other forums yet but...


Is it possible (THEORETICALLY) to access your Mac files from your Windows partition and your Windows files from your Mac partition?

I don't understand why Apple made it so complicated

Because Apple had nothing to do with it? Windows can't read HFS+. Buy some third-party software to see OS X from Windows and download NTFS-3G and MacFUSE to write to Windows from OS X.

HFSexplorer works well. It's free. I use it and have had no trouble. The only problems is that it cannot write.

If you want to read and write your Mac OS X partition from Windows, then try MacDrive 7.

But works flawlessly for me on Windows XP in bootcamp.
