I accidentally dropped my Macbook Pro(Mid 2012) and since then, my left USB port doesn't appear to work anymore.
its weird because when I plug my seagate external hard drive in, the lights of the hd come on but my MBP doesn't recognise it, likewise with my iPod, where the battery appears to be charging, but iTunes doesn't recognise my iPod.
Any solution to this?

Probably messed up the motherboard. Take it in to see if they can fix it, but it will likely cost you.

both the ports are in Left side!!both dont work..There was a Mouse transmiter in one of the port while dropped...

Oh. Sorry. I thought you had ports on both sides. If you have thunderbolt, it might be cheaper to buy a thunderbolt hub with USB ports than to replace a motherboard. I have one of these, and it's very nice.
