Hey guys,

In linux i accidentally formatted my whole HDD and the recovery partition.

Now i can only put linux or windows on it.

I'd really like my mac os lion back.

the CMD + R function does not apply to me because my laptop did not come with OS X LION, but with a previous version.

I have a macbook early 2008 , 2,4ghz core 2duo.

I was wondering if i could download a torrent with lion.app

But the problem is it is a .app and not a .dmg or iso.

Sigh.. i know im really stupid but i really want my mac back can someone give me advice?

PS : i do not have a cd, i do have a apple store account with mac os lion on it.

Best regards,

Sadly, You're only option is to get the older OS X version a disk then.

How about this ,

I download snow leopard iso , burn it
install it and then go to apple store and upgrade to lion ?
