It’s just a led light. They can be on for thousands of hours.Four hours? I didn’t think that a phone flash was meant to be used for four hours in a row.
I have used phone flash light much longer than 4 hrs on remote hikes and over night camping. iPhone flash light isn’t my choice, but works very well when other options aren’t available.Four hours? I didn’t think that a phone flash was meant to be used for four hours in a row.
I think that I accidentally turned it on while unplugging it. So the battery started at 100% and was at 81% after four hours. It's an LED, not an incandescent bulb, so I wouldn't worry about it. I have used it for an entire night when our power went out, and many times just like that, and many times in a pinch like working on a car at night, still no issues on my 2 year old iPhone 13 Pro. Battery life while using the light probably is the only concern.
